The major future activity for Grade A office space development by TECOM will take place here in Dubai Design District

TECOM manages most of Dubai’s major business parks such as Dubai Internet City, Dubai Science Park, Silicon Oasis (affiliated), Media City, Studio City, Production City, Dubai Knowledge Park, Dubai Academic City, Innovation Hub.
TECOM is 85% Govt. owned (through Dubai Holding). 15% of the shares are publicly traded since IPO in 2022.

Currently there is no residential properties in Dubai Design District (D3)
A complex of 3 buildings was launched on extension of the project in 2023 & early 2024.

This is the extension of Dubai Design district.
In 2024, TECOM announced investment of $226 mn to develop six Grade office buildings In the second phase of Dubai Design District (marked above).

From what started as a smaller interesting little business park behind Downtown with little real weight back in 2016 is now clearly going to develop as a major managed office & residential business district (which Business Bay is not).
